The 11-day 2012 Paralympic Games made history this year. According to organizers, 251 world records have been broken. Over 2.7 million spectators came to watch the sporting events, and $70 million was raised in ticket sales— making it the most successful Paralympics in it’s 52-year history.

Superstars Rihanna, Jay-Z and Colplay closed out the event. Rihanna rocked the stage wearing a sheer red number and a new pixy-cut hair ‘do. She performed her tracks “Princess of China” and “We Found Love”.
Jay-z pleasantly surprised concert goers when he came out to perform the mega-hit “Run This Town” alongside Ri Ri with assistance from Coldplay. Hov also stuck around for a remix of Coldplay‘s record “Paradise”. @Hala_Berry
