[Celebrity News] Should Lil Wayne Apologize to New York City For His Comments?!
Everyone is entitled to there own opinion. Lil Wayne has said on multiple occasions that he isn’t too fond of the The Big Apple. New York State Senator Malcolm Smith is demanding a public apology today in Times Square.
Senator Smith will be accompanied by members of the hip hop youth council and tourism officials in a press conference in Times Square in Duffy Square between 47th and 46th & Broadway and 7th Avenue today at 3PM. This is all in response to Lil Wayne insulting the city by saying “I flat out don’t like New York.”
In a press release from Senator states:
New York City is the birthplace of the Hip Hop music movement. Millions of New Yorkers listen to his music every day. His comments is outraged his local fans and residents. The group today will be demanding an apology of the hip hop star. Lil Wayne has had misfortune in New York with recent gun charges and a jail sentence.
